About Badrinath Temple
Set in the Garhwal Himalayas beside the Alaknanda river and the towering Neelkanth peak, Badrinath enshrines Lord Vishnu as Badri Narayan in a black saligram form. The northernmost of the four Char Dham and a part of the Chota Char Dham, its brightly painted facade and the hot springs of Tapt Kund greet every pilgrim.
