Acceptance

By accessing or using Darshan (getdarshan.com) — including our website and our iOS and Android apps — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Darshan.

Accounts & Account Deletion

You may use much of Darshan as a guest. Creating an account lets your data (kundali, bookings, planner and practice) sync across your devices. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to create an account.

You can delete your account and the data synced to our servers at any time by emailing support@getdarshan.com from your registered address. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Temple Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Darshan provides aarti timings, darshan schedules, and temple information sourced from official temple websites and publicly available records. All timings are indicative only.

Temple schedules change frequently — for festivals, maintenance, special occasions, and seasonal adjustments. Darshan updates records when we become aware of changes, but we cannot guarantee real-time accuracy.

Always confirm aarti timings and darshan schedules directly with the temple before traveling. Darshan is not liable for travel inconvenience caused by schedule discrepancies.

Saarthi — AI Spiritual Guide

Saarthi is an AI-powered study companion grounded in Vedic scripture. It is intended for learning, reflection, and general dharmic guidance.

Saarthi is not a substitute for a qualified Acharya, Jyotishi, or priest. Do not rely solely on Saarthi for important life decisions including medical, legal, financial, or major ritual decisions. For significant matters — muhurta selection, remedies, detailed chart interpretation — consult a qualified Acharya.

Saarthi responses are generated by an AI model. Responses may contain errors or omissions. Darshan does not guarantee the accuracy of Saarthi responses.

Vedic Kundali & Kundali Matching

Darshan's Kundali and Kundali Matching tools are provided for educational and reference purposes using standard Vedic calculation methods (Lahiri ayanamsa, Vimshottari Dasha, Ashta Koota).

Kundali results should not be the sole basis for major life decisions. For detailed interpretation or important decisions such as marriage, consult a qualified Jyotishi.

Pooja Booking

Darshan facilitates connections between devotees and Acharyas for live video poojas. While we verify Acharya credentials at the time of onboarding, Darshan is not responsible for the specific conduct of individual Acharyas during booked sessions.

Pricing is displayed at time of booking and may change. Darshan may receive a platform fee from pooja bookings.

Shop & Affiliate Disclosure

Darshan's shop may include affiliate links to third-party products. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence which products or services we feature.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Darshan for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access any portion of Darshan you are not authorised to use
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download temple data or content
• Post or transmit content that is harmful, offensive, or disrespectful to the Hindu tradition or its practitioners

Intellectual Property

The Darshan name, logo, and original content are the intellectual property of Darshan. Temple photographs are sourced from Wikimedia Commons under Creative Commons licences and are attributed to their respective photographers. Vedic texts quoted are in the public domain.

Limitation of Liability

Darshan is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Darshan and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Mobile Apps & App Stores

Our mobile apps are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play and are also subject to those platforms' terms. Pooja bookings and travel bookings are real-world services and physical goods, paid through our own or our partners' payment flows rather than in-app purchases.

For the iOS app, Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content; Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
