About Sri Mariamman Temple

Established in 1827 in the heart of Chinatown, Sri Mariamman is Singapore's oldest Hindu temple. Dedicated to Goddess Mariamman, it is famed for its ornate gopuram and the annual Theemithi (fire-walking) festival.
