Set on the Mandhata island in the Narmada river, shaped like the sacred syllable Om, Omkareshwar is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. The serene riverine setting, reached by boat or footbridge, makes the darshan of Lord Omkareshwar a deeply tranquil experience.
