About Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple
Perched on the Nallamala hills beside the Krishna river, Srisailam enshrines both a Jyotirlinga (Mallikarjuna) and a Shakti Peetha (Bhramaramba). Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are worshipped together here as Mallikarjuna and Bhramaramba, making it a rare shrine sacred to both Shaivites and Shaktas.
